Gemstone ABA is led by a team of professionals dedicated to helping children and families navigate the autism journey with confidence and support.

Dr. Chana Richter is a pediatrician specializing in child development, with over 23 years of experience supporting children with developmental differences and their families. Most recently, she served as a diagnostician at Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Center for Autism Services, Science, and Innovation (CASSI), where she specialized in evaluating children for autism and related conditions.

Dr. Richter’s unique background spans education, ABA therapy, and medicine. Before becoming a physician, she earned both her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Education and Special Education from Touro University, taught children with diverse learning needs, and worked directly as an ABA therapist providing one-on-one support.

She received her medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, completed her pediatric residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, and pursued specialized autism training at Kennedy Krieger Institute. Over the past six years, she has evaluated thousands of children and helped countless families better understand their child’s strengths, challenges, and path forward.

At Gemstone, Dr. Richter combines clinical expertise with a warm, family-centered approach, helping children and families access the support they need to grow, connect, and shine.

Dr. Jonathan Musman is the Chief Executive Officer of Gemstone ABA. A licensed clinician by training and an operator by experience, he founded Gemstone with a simple conviction: young children with autism deserve care that is both clinically excellent and delivered by an organization that treats its families and staff the right way.

Jonathan earned his Doctor of Psychology from The George Washington University, where his clinical training centered on children, adolescents, and families. His experience spans individual and family therapy, comprehensive psychological assessment, and therapeutic work with children with developmental disorders across hospital, school, and community settings — including Sheppard Pratt Health System and the Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents. That background shapes how Gemstone approaches every child: with rigor, warmth, and respect for the family behind them.

Jonathan lives in Baltimore with his wife and children.

As Chief Operating Officer of Gemstone ABA, Zachary Grauer leads the strategic direction and operational performance of the practice to ensure the highest quality of care. Zachary brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to his role as COO.

Upon earning his Master’s degree in Clinical Community Counseling from The Johns Hopkins School of Education, he focused his energy on community engagement while helping youth and families navigate mental health challenges through his work at The Ohel Regional Family Center in New York. He then went on to earn his JD from The University of Baltimore School of Law, which facilitated his ability to apply his critical thinking and problem-solving skills to a wide range of business ventures.

Building on the foundation of his educational background in healthcare and law, Zachary has gained years of experience in business leadership and management. As co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of GEM Venture Partners, Zachary carries invaluable experience in launching and growing a thriving business while leading his team of dedicated employees and maintaining quality partnerships. As CEO of Gem VP, he established the company’s sizable and diverse real estate portfolio, which he continues to develop and advance each day. Zachary drives organizational growth as he oversees and leads the company with his vision and passion for excellence.

Zachary is thrilled to bring his diverse experience in healthcare, law, finance, and business management to GEM’s newest healthcare venture. He is responsible for maintaining a high standard of care, compliance, and operational excellence at Gemstone ABA.
